Today we pray for Jim Hogan. He took a fall back a few months and hit his head, brain bleed, ended up in nursing care. Yesterday he began to decline pray for him as he begins his suffering and ask Jesus to do whatever gives glory to God.

St Juliana Falconieri modeled the selflessness of those who are committed to servicing God. In this selflessness God led her to found a religious order The Religious Sisters of the Third Order of Servites (Mantellate Order). Generous God, I thank you for all those holy men and women who established communities that continue to serve your people today.

I’m always slightly surprised when I run across OT scripture that speaks to NT scripture 1 Sam 2 speaks to the crucifixion and resurrection, and I immediately recognize it for what it is. Sometimes it seems like I read but don’t understand which then leads me to realizing that what was said about man in the NT is how it is 1Peter 2. Tomorrow, I leave early for MO. Just doing a down, drop, return.

The new dispute (#3) with Synchrony Bank has begun. Twice now they have made a decision for the provider without any input from them in the dispute. The provider and his business has disappeared from the face of the earth along with his records. He was a thief leaving an innocent holding the bag. Worse yet, they know this and said as much but still won’t settle.

New day, new beginning
I’m off early this morning and will be home later tonight. The man is picking up a new to him suburban. I should be working on some new labels but just don’t feel like it. Did I tell you the Subaru needs a new alternator? Should be finished by tomorrow. I’m thinking it will then go up for sale as all the important things have been repaired and neither one of us is comfortable in the driver’s seat. Our legs are too long. It’s really only good for a work car as it has lots of rust but not too many miles. Who knows, it served its purpose for us.

Beautiful morning, the birds are so loud! The streets are damp, must have sprinkled a bit overnight. The forecast is for rain most of the day. Hopefully that holds off as there is a wedding today on the ridge. I was thinking this morning about how little I think about the armor of God. I take for granted (and believe most do) that it is there. Unfortunately, I’m in error with this thought process. Waiting not so patiently for 4 packages. Time is running short on two of them. The man hit a deer yesterday, seemed little damage found, but later in the evening the car died out in the middle of nowhere. Luckily our nephew G was in the area and a ride home was appreciated. Today the tow truck will pick it up. A trip to La Crosse this morning, a trip to Elroy mid afternoon, and a bit of running late afternoon. Meanwhile the sorting continues. My life feels like it is always sorting.

Awhile back I posted about the carbon pipeline… Wyoming part of pipeline. Thought you may want an update on that.

May as well update the oil pipeline as well.

Meanwhile the High Voltage powerline disputes continue as do the Data Center disptues.

Data Center meeting in Portland Village Hall coming up. There are other meetings around the county as well. I understand the need but put them in the desert… let them pipe/haul water in and stick the solar panels and wind turbines out there with them.

Then onto putting the kitchen hutch in place, for my Pioneer Woman collection. Will have to move it when the flooring goes in.

The man headed to IA late afternoon. He has to be in Morrison, IL by 3 am. Hopefully home by noon.

Laundry needs folding. Altar base needs to be moved into place in the dining room. Leaf needs to be put in table. All hutch drawers emptied and need sorting. May as well do the keep, giveaway, pitch dance while I’m at it. Will tackle the dining room built in by end of week. Copy job to finish before I leave in the AM. Closets need to be sorted as well. June is half gone and my Sping cleaning has barely begun.

Candles were lit this morning for Cmom requests, other requests, fallen away adult children, and those in Purgatory.
