Meditations for Each Day, pg. 289, Holiness
It is not true to say that holiness can be attained only by a few select souls, so that ordinary goodness is sufficient for people like ourselves who have so many other things to think about and to do. Such an attitude leads to tepidity, from which it is a short and easy step to sin itself.

Let’s think about this statement. Isn’t it exactly what is being taught in protestant churches?

Spiritual Warfare is alive and well in this life on Earth.
Each of us has a decision to make that no one else can make for us.
We either follow Christ or satan.
Simple as that in theory.
Decidedly hard in real life.

Reflexology & Chiro began the day.

Sad condition of the woke, progressive, socialist news… Decided the USA didn’t need to hear the Presidents Address last evening. Who are they to dictate what I should or shouldn’t hear.

ETZ informational meeting in Cashton last evening.  My come away… Hidden agenda. 

Based on their set up of expecting 4 people (number of chairs set up) to be there. Lack of audio equipment so the crowd could hear what was being said, the looks between different board members when questions were brought up, how they tried to skirt around some answers, and last but not least- the lack of public notice regarding the meeting.

Couple this with

• flock cameras they decided to purchase

• rumors of a new fire station further down Front St.

One wonders.

The man went back for a recheck on his foot. Waiting for the outcome.

Heat this past week coupled with smoke out of Canada makes for interesting health issues.

SUV in for oil change. Carbon removal happens on Thursday. Also may need an A/C fan replacement. Making funny noises.

Today we remember Clair & Lorraine Packer’s wedding day in 1933 may they rest in peace. We also remember Hanna Behan Cummings’ birthday in 1880, may she rest in peace.

St Mary-Magdalen Postel‘s work to educate girls illustrates the importance of teaching the young about the faith. Lord, I thank you for all the teachers, especially the religious sisters, who educate, strengthen, and encourage us.
