Today we remember Kimberly Fowler, who passed in 1995, may she rest in peace.
St Hugh of Grenoble reminds us that doing God’s work can sometimes be hard and tedious, requiring perseverance. Father, give me the fortitude to take on the work of faith-building even when it is less than exciting and requires deep and lasting effort. (I’ll be offering this prayer up for RT as she works at the Damascus Summer Camp this summer)

Went shopping and to lunch with Faye yesterday. Something we don’t do near enough. Enjoyed our time out perusing the shops in Coon Valley and eating lunch at ‘The Stockyard’.
Had a very enjoyable time at the Cashton Memorial Library yesterday, late afternoon, where I learned how to put together a signature of a junk journal. I met 3 other women whom I hadn’t known before. The instructor, Kathy Kuderer, did a great job teaching this less-than-artistic person to think outside the box. Many thanks to Jill, the librarian, for offering this program to the public at no charge. The knitting group was hard at it when I arrived. I’m thinking that would be another fun thing to work at. The library’s April event calendar is out. Be sure to get one.

Damascus Catholic Summer Camp, check it out.

Bl. Joan (Jane) of Toulouse (distinct from Joan, Countess of Toulouse & St Jane Frances de Chantal) showed us that even when we have little to give, we must help those who are less fortunate than we are. Jesus, help me to stretch myself to be more generous to the poor and needy, even when it means I must do without.

Scripture Reading Day 31 from The Way of the Cross
Rev 1:5-6 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead and ruler of the kings of the earth. Came across this article online (when I find the writer/owner, I will post it). Thought I’d pass the ponder on, it is something I’d never heard of previously.
There’s a strange detail in the Last Supper that most people never notice. Jesus stopped the Passover meal partway through.
And He didn’t finish it until the cross.
The Passover meal traditionally includes four cups of wine, each connected to God’s promises to Israel in the Book of Exodus 6:6–7.
The cups represent:
1️⃣ Sanctification — “I will bring you out.”
2️⃣ Deliverance — “I will rescue you.”
3️⃣ Redemption — “I will redeem you.”
4️⃣ Praise / Completion — “I will take you as My people.”
Now watch what Jesus does.
During the meal He lifts a cup and says:
“This cup is the new covenant in My blood.”
— Gospel of Luke 22:20
Luke specifically says this happened after supper, which corresponds to the third cup — the Cup of Redemption.
Jesus was declaring:
He is the redemption.
But then something strange happens. Jesus says:
“I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”—Gospel of Luke 22:18
He stops before the fourth cup.
The Passover meal is left unfinished.
Later, while hanging on the cross, Jesus is given sour wine.
Then He declares:
“It is finished.”— Gospel of John 19:30
The Passover Lamb had been sacrificed.
Redemption was complete. Jesus giving His life on the cross was the fulfillment of the Passover itself.
Good Morning!
today is my day off
I’m having lunch with a good friend
then off to the library to learn how to make a junk journal
I see them being made online and think they are cute…
Although I have no clue what someone does with one after they have made it.
I’m thinking it would be a fun way to remember a special event or trip
The SUV is in the shop getting new tires and a look over for our trip to Texas
I’d better get a move on lots to do before I have fun

St John Climacus teaches us that silence, both in solitude and community, can indicate a heart devoted to God. God, when I am astounded by your majesty and creation, remind me that my silent gratitude is an acceptable expression and gift to you.

Scripture Reading for Day 28 of The Way of the Cross
1 Peter 2:24-25 He himself bore our sins in his body upon the cross, so that, free from sin, we might live for righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.r 25 For you had gone astray like sheep,s but you have now returned to the shepherd and guardian of your souls.*

Good morning!
Am feeling much better today. Whatever was hovering left after I slept on and off most of the day.
I did get copy work done yesterday. The man took care of delivering them.
The ceiling is 3/4 finished. Hard to believe the difference it makes in that room. Will post photos when finished.
I’m in desperate need of a haircut. Perhaps I will wander west today and get that taken care of. The new phone is getting better to use. Still not comfortable with it and all the new little things it does. It’s almost as if the phone makers want to keep everyone busy figuring things out instead of actually living life.
Once again, I am reading Farmer Girl on FB. She has a gift with words.

Hebrews 13:11-13 The bodies of the animals whose blood the high priest brings into the sanctuary as a sin offering are burned outside the camp.h 12 Therefore, Jesus also suffered outside the gate, to consecrate the people by his own blood.i 13 Let us then go to him outside the camp, bearing the reproach that he bore.
Meditations for Each Day, pg 114, The Human Soul You were made with ONE soul, two hands, two feet, two ears, to eyes… ONE soul… don’t lose it. God gave you free will; the salvation of your soul is the most necessary work you have to do.
I do not feel the greatest today. Low-grade headache with body aches. Hopefully all due to the horrid pace I have been setting this past week.
