Blessed Raph Milner and Roger Dickensen show us how lay people and clergy can be instrumental in defending and proclaiming faith. God, give me the courage and insight to avoid hypocrisy in all its forms, especially in religion.
Courage to Change, page 189, Today’s Reminder
Today I accept that each life has its share of conflict. It is not my job to document every such incident. Instead of wringing my hands and pointing my finger, I can consider the possibility that everything is happening exactly as it should. Sometimes, blame is just an excuse to keep busy so that I don’t have to feel the discomfort of my powerlessness. “The mind grows by what it feeds on.” Josiah G. Holland
Meditations for Each Day, pg. 269, Uncharitableness
The tendency to complain about others is a most insidious cancer which can corrode all that is good in our conversation, making it harmful and even gravely sinful. Grumbling is always more or less sinful according to the circumstances. It may be a sin against charity, which demands that we love our neighbour as ourselves and help him as much as possible by word and by deed.
James 3:2 for we all fall short in many respects. If anyone does not fall short in speech, he is a perfect man, able to bridle his whole body also.a, Imitation of Christ Bk.I c.20:2 “As often as I have been amongst men, I have returned less a man”.
Scripture Reading Day 7 of Freedom in Christ
John 8:36 So if a son frees you, then you will truly be free.
Acts 18:9-10 e One night in a vision the Lord said to Paul, “Do not be afraid. Go on speaking, and do not be silent, 10 for I am with you. No one will attack and harm you, for I have many people in this city.”
In the news... the one-year defunding on planned parenthood expired… republican lawmakers have failed us on this one.
This will be a beautiful day!

The kitchen is finished except for the floor, doors, and countertop. Flooring is in the garage, still searching for a countertop that will fit in with a rustic look. Trim for the living room ceiling also in the garage.

I head to La Crosse this morning to pick up Cpap supplies, drop copy work at Insty Print, and do a bit of shopping. Two copy jobs are ready for delivery. 1 email needs delivered. Splurged a little last evening with a purchase just for me.
The Jean Grainger books I ordered came in yesterday; Thrift Books is always a good place to purchase used books.
My Amish friend Sarah S makes greeting cards, she made this magnet for me. Her work is excellent and her prices are reasonable.

Know you are prayed for.
