76th Birthday greetings to Jim Hogan. Have an awesome day!

Sts. Prisca and Aquila remind us of the need to have church and thus, God’s presence, within our homes. Father, let me be conscious every day of Your presence in my home and making it a place where Your presence shines.

Courage to Change, pg. 190, Today’s Reminder
A great deal con be learned as a result of painful circumstances, but they are not my only teachers. I live in a world full of wonders. Today I will pay attention to their gentle wisdom. ” I discovered the secret of the sea in meditation upon a dewdrop.” Kahlil Gibran

Meditations for Each Day, pg. 270, Falling into Sin
Proverbs 24:16, Luke 18:1, 1 John 1:8, Matthew 26:41,
We fall in so many ways thought, speech, action, omission, moments of weakness, impatience, premeditated malice…

Scripture Reading for Day 8 of Freedom in Christ
Galatians 2:20 yet I live, no longer I, but Christ lives in me; insofar as I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God who has loved me and given himself up for me.p
Isaiah 6:8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?” “Here I am,” I said; “send me!”

Morning!
It’s early, way early.
Taking someone to the hospital for an early morning procedure.
Had a nice day yesterday doing some personal business in Lax. Found some great buys along the way.
• I’ve been pondering last week’s Record regarding the 10 “Verkada” cameras the Village has purchased. I just don’t see needing license plate & facial recognition in a small 1 flashing light village with less than 1200 people. The Chief said it would solve a lot of stuff they can’t solve… just what is it they are trying to solve? We don’t have enough crime here to even have the Chief do a daily news blotter or for that matter, a weekly one for the newspaper. In the past month I may have seen an officer out and about 5 times. Cameras only tell the information recorded… not what happened before or after and for during, only what the lens can see. We spend $47,000. for the cameras, another $24,000. for the WIFI leaving a a ten-year debt of $71,000. Image retention is 60-90 days on Amazon Web Service. Cameras are not covered for unintentional or intentional damage… so the warranty is only for the workings of the camera. Sounds like “Big Brother” will be entering the workplace and the streets of Cashton. I’m not so willing to give up my liberties. Check it out for yourself here. Gotta ask yourself who owns it and what their history is. Check it out on Wikipedia it’s worth the time.

Know you are prayed for.
