More concrete tiles for the backyard. Woodchips coming too. I have white rose bush suckers should anyone desire them; Rose of Sharon shrubs too.

IF entering week 30. The weight loss isn’t great but then it would be if all this extra skin was gone. My clothes fit better, I feel better, but I let the scale rule my thoughts.

NT finished in 2 weeks. It has helped. The kicker is going to be having the numbness come back when the therapy is over. I’m fairly certain this will be the case. Was it worth the $$ outlay? No, not at all. Will I continue the 2xs 30 mins daily no, but will probably do 1x daily.

Cpap continues. The Dr. wants me to try a new mask. I’ll wait till July to do that. I am sleeping better. Only up once a night and of late that was totally due to having such a dry mouth. (reason for different mask)

Crunch week for the garage sale.

Today’s Ponder… we travel constantly seeking happiness. Our search would be shorter if we sought and found God who is the only way to happiness.

Today’s Ponder… As I honor the Cross of Jesus Christ how do I feel about my own cross? Do I have a sense of repugnance and rebellion when I am called upon to suffer with Him and carry my own cross? Read Luke 9:23 Remind yourself if you do not/ cannot love your own cross, you do not love the Cross of Jesus Christ. If we are to be true Christians, we must suffer with resignation and love.

Early morning bus to meet and collect 4 to deliver home

Lovely day yesterday with my friend FS. I am blest.

Today we clean out the upstairs hallway. Getting ready to put in storage closet, paint walls, and put in a boxcar siding ceiling. I’m a lucky woman to have nephews willing to tote and bail for me.

NT on the downhill slide. I’ve seen improvement. Am grateful for that relief. But not willing to continue with the time frame needed on a daily basis. Just too consuming, it interferes with life.

IF needs more effort on my part with water and walking.

Cpap doing fine. I still hate using it but see results so I use it.

The office is a complete total mess. Lots of cleaning needed in there today. Have some copy work as well. This afternoon it will happen.

Yesterday we stopped at the Sweet Valley Artisan Shop in Coon Valley, WI Lots of interesting things in there. Ate lunch at “The Stockyard” excellent food and service.

Got notice the Bible Study class is moving to 3pm. Not a good time for us so we will bow out for now.

St Fiacre statue placed. I think this was a great find at the junk shop yesterday. Especially for us considering garden and driving are the two major points in our lives at this time.

SHREW…

Doesn’t sound pleasant, does it. Immediately brings up visions of something you don’t want to be, and definitely don’t want to be around.

But is it really?  Shrews are defined as…solitary animals that live and forage alone. They’re extremely territorial and aggressive against other shrews, animals, and even people. Some species of shrews are the only known terrestrial mammals with the ability to echolocate.

Echolocation is the location of objects by reflected sound, in particular, that is used by animals such as dolphins and bats.

Of course most think of shrew as an ill or bad tempered woman such as the one described by Shakespeare in “Taming of the Shrew” who was simply hiding behind this type of behavior due to the factors of her life.

A defense mechanism, simply a defense mechanism which we all have plenty of.

So now you know why I chose the logo… life is not always easy, simple, planned out, or perfect.  Sometimes, one needs tools to traverse a specific area in life.
