Ah yes, Mother Nature letting us know she is in charge. PTL for the much needed moisture for our fields and streams. Once again my thank yous to the snow removal and road crews who keep our highways safe. We really have no clue regarding the amount of time, effort, and knowledge that goes into the quick removal of this white stuff. If you have always lived in WI you probably take that for granted. Those in the south shut down and stay home in this kind of weather. I smile remembering the light dusting of what I call corn snow (those tiny balls of snow that aren’t really flakes but mini snowballs as in less than bb size) when we lived in TX. Everyone was running to the store and stocking up on milk and water. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out what the huge hurry was. One of my co workers asked if I wanted her to cover for me while I went and got mine. I told her no, that I’d get it after work she said its started snowing and it will be slippery are you sure you don’t want to go now? I told her it would be fine. It was fine, not even what I call a snow happened although it sure was nice to see and the air had that snow smell to it as well. Driving was not an issue…I was basically the only one on the road.

Hoping to end up in La Crosse today. Will stop at the Cpap store and pick up supplies. Have a couple of copy jobs and a typing job to do today.

IF… 23 week in, 2291fasting hours, pluggin along, still losing inches & averaging 1# a week loss

NT… day 24 of 90, decrease of numbness in feet and legs, although I still have a light sock feeling.

Cpap… making odd noises, mouth still extremely dry, wakes me up, still hate it but do it.

How’s your Lent? Did you get to confession? Did you forgive those who have hurt you? Did you ask forgiveness of those you have hurt?

My Lent has been very dry… desert dry infact. My normal church involvement has come to a screeching halt… there will be no Easter services at my church. The expectation is I seek those in my sister church. I did find out they are doing Wednesday rosary so I went last night. That was good, very good for my soul. The bible study on Tues is not meeting during Lent, will begin again in April.

More Esken CDs arrived yesterday. I totally enjoy how he has taken charactors from his first book and gone deeper into their lives in other books. I think these all stand alone bringing the rest of the story to light in new books. These would make great movies. I hear the first book is being developed into a feature film. I have it on my must see list.

Send up prayers for MK who has been diagnosied with prostrate cancer.

Did you see the video of the House Oversight Comittee examining Presidents Biden’s role in his family business practices in China, Ukraine, Russia, and other places in the world. It’s looking like influence peddling. They have been looking into this for over a year now.

Stop signs, stop signs everywhere!

The village has put up so many stop signs you’d think it was Madison.

We’ve got less than 1100 people here and stop signs galore.

The money could have been better spent on street repair, curb, and gutter.  Are these things decided at the village meeting?  Maybe I should attend.

They spent way too much money at the police department, too. Considering no one ever sees them on the streets anymore.

IF… week 23… 2241 hours of fasting… slow but sure the #s come off. Water intake/body movement are a must for this to work. I know, its slow but hey, the pounds went on slow.

NT… time consuming is a huge draw back with this therapy. I’ve had to change my whole schedule to make sure I get it all in. This and DST have made me tired for what seems like forever. Is it working, yes. At least I think it is. My feet and legs feel better. Although I still thump around I believe the thumping is less hard. My balance seems better. I can tell you I won’t be purchasing any more of the nutrients. They taste awful and are too expensive.

Cpap… needs a new head strap.

Hm… 4 year anni of Covid19… we still haven’t held China responsible, Fauci is still making money, when he should be in jail. The wokes/progressives still have people convinced they are going to die without a vacc and mask. Our children are an anxious mess, our society is disjointed, our government is full of crooks… yep, China’s mission was accomplished. A total breakdown of the world. Worse… most still don’t get that and follow like sheep to the slaughter.

Arrived home from my little trip to Marion, WI about 0045. By 0100 I was sound asleep; when 0145 the phone rang and off to Hillsboro I went with K and husband to Edith’s (the midwife). Should hear from them sometime today to come home.

The labels came yesterday so I will be able to finish up on that copy order today as well as do a second one that came in yesterday.

Maple sweetness was left on my porch, no clue where it came from but hmmm I’m going to love it on waffles. My thanks to the person who blest me with it.

So, that list you were making, how’s it going? Did you get them all down? Today think about how good it feels to get that baggage out of your head and onto a concrete piece of paper. Did it make life a bit lighter afterwards? Although it is hard, if you could take a few moments and give thought to each entry… try to write… I forgive you/them next to each line. just those words. The words are not a sign of weakness, they are a sign of strength. They set you free from whatever power was being held over you. Now you can breathe.

NT… coming along well. Although I can say I am tired of having to do this routine 2 times a day for 35 mins. I guess if I had a regular schedule it wouldn’t bug me so much.

Cpap… yes I am using it

Daylight Saving Time, those who think it is so great… where are you guys? I am not seeing any extended outdoor activity. Not seeing parents spending more time outside with their children. In fact most days I don’t see children outside and when I do they are all carrying or have their nose glued to some kind of electronic divice. What I do see are sleep deprived human beings dragging themselves thru the day. I am one of those people.

J Troyer’s auction today. If cars are any indication of successful attendance the auction yesterday was extremely successful. I will however say many thought they were the only ones there if the way they parked and drove is any indication.

Nelson Ag’s Spring sale this week.

Monday it’s time to purchase the Turkey Lisence.

Ordered Esken’s next book CD “Saving Emma” I so enjoy this author.

Let’s talk about “perseverance” I’ve had a signature for ages that says “bearing fruit thru perseverance…DV (Deo Volente (God Willing))” for a very long time. I started using it when I realized that if one doesn’t bear fruit (the kind God wants) there is no real purpose to life. I realized early in life (mid teens) that having a car, spending money, name brand items, the latest popular thing did absolutely NOTHING for my soul. It made me the go to person for spongers. Those things contributed NOTHING to my soul. Frankly, without them it was a much better world. I have never been able to convince my children of that. They still strive for the “having stuff”.
