Knee is feeling better… of course, it is. I’m scheduled to see Dr. on Friday, heaven forbid it would feel bad then. When I actually need it, too.

Does anyone out there hear the high hum of electricity or the cell tower? It has been driving me bonkers for months. Had relief from it when we went north last week, but as soon as we got back, it started in again. How does one fix that?

Today is a pick-up drop-off day. One day a week, I shedule all those little don’t have time to do things in one day. Today is that day.

Happy “60th” Birthday to my vdf S. Hope my package gets there today.

Antonio Cardinal Bacci page 314 Meditation for Each Day… We must be detached from the goods of this world because they are corruptible and cause us to forget God. Even if we have been placed in easy circumstances, let us be poor in spirit…We need the mercy of God, and Our Lord has told us that He will be merciful only to those who show mercy to others.

Quentin Hakenewerth, SM page 1 Gowing in the Virtues of Jesus…Every one of us is born with all the potential we need to become a happy, mature person. We all begin with the making of an effective personality. We have what is necessary to learn to deal effectively with the situations of our everyday life. The makings are there, but they do need to be developed. They form a kind of image of the true person we are meant to become.

Was good to see Monsignor Hundt and yes… it was good to be there. We are losing our youth and young adults to the world. They have been brainwashed into believing that either there is no God, God won’t send you to hell, or you need to be entertained each week to keep you coming back. Perhaps like a TV rating week contest. Satan has done his job well. He has many workers.

Must see movie Priceless (2016)

Monday has arrived. Print jobs are ready to deliver and pick up. Regular Monday chores need to be done.

While you are being distracted and occupied by the Trump hoopla… what is being done quietly?

It really is time to clean house and NOT WITH THE HELP OF OPPORTUNITY WISCONSIN. Their lies are of omission and innuendo. Just as evil as all the rest.

It is time to revamp the campaign rules.

1) limits on total money spent for 1 person’s campaign. 2) televised PSA debates/talks for all candidates 1x a month 3) candidates talk about themselves with no innuendo aimed at others. 4) if you don’t follow the debate rules, you must leave the floor and will not be part of the rest of them 5) no TV ads; only radio, internet, and mailing, door to door, parades and the like.

What rules would you like to see?

Gotta run

The man readying for bike ride

Boy died last night on Sandhill. Marvin, 17 yr old son of Levi & Clara Miller on Dutch Hollow. Riding his wagon down Indian Creek, lost control, went over the edge, (20′ drop) 3 wagons went down, 3 in each wagon, no problems with 1st 2… the other boys with him, 1 treated at scene, other in hosp with broken leg. May he rest in peace. Our deepest sympathy to his family. Funeral on Monday.

Nice breeze on the porch this morning… feels good. Fall is on the way, so is school. Soon, real time will be back, and our bodies can live their natural time. Maybe this time it will stay put.

Time to think about fall flowers. I do good for spring, am ok for summer and dismally inadequate for fall.

Lots of reno work to finish on the house. Never seems to end. I really just want it finished. It’ll never get done, I know this. But hope springs eternal.

Read the Eagle Forum Report. https://eagleforum.org/ regarding smoking pot. How it’s becoming acceptable. Included in the report is how smoking pot makes you anxious, susceptable to paranoia, to schizophrenia and other disorders like that. I totally enjoy reading it. Always full of good information.

My day to pray for cmomc.

Chiro & Reflexology today

1st Wednesday… To your Chaste Heart, we consecrate ourselves, on this day, O Glorious Saint Joseph. We consecrate our families and all that we have. Just as you protect Jesus and Mary, protect my soul and my life also, O my Beloved Protector, against the dangers that surround me and attack me. O Glorious Saint Joseph, teach me to love deeply the most Holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, so that you may come to love deeply as they your Most Chaste Heart, honoring it and making it known, as you deserve and ought to be Honored and loved for all eternity. Amen!

New month began yesterday. Time to take inventory of my life. Time to check my relationships. Godchildren list them and pray for them and touch base. Time to check my children’s lives.

New water heater installation today.

St. Odilia

Overview

The lighting in the shrine was interesting. You couldn’t see the flickering and streaks with the naked eye. However, with the camera, they were very obvious, but not at all if on video. The alter flickered when being looked at thru a camera, so I switched to video…the flickering stopped. The reflection in the 1st class relic photos was not there when the flashless photo was taken but very evident in the photo itself. As it is also in other photos taken around the shrine.

We head home today after enjoying a much needed time away.

The shrines we visited were worth the drive. St Kateri was a favorite of my F-i-l and is also dd#1’s confirmation saint. However, at the time Kateri was blessed, permission was needed. St. Odilia is the patroness of eye issues. Our dd#4 and our niece I were laid before her to take to Jesus.

These two shrines are very small, are located in out of the way places, and were unknown to us until about a month ago. Well worth the drive.

Prayer for the Crosier Order they are aging out. May God bring them young men to be priests & brothers.
