So many thoughts swirling my brain. This is the time of year that should be thought-provoking but not reign chaos.
Reminder the St. Andrew Christmas Novena begins on the 30th. I posted it a few days ago if you need a copy.
We are about to enter Advent (Dec 3rd). A time of preparation. The beginning of the new liturgical year. This year’s theme (The Year of Prayer). These next few weeks should be about examining our life and making sure it will be ready to meet the Christ child.
It is not about decorating your yard or house. It is about deep cleaning your soul and decorating your interior life.
It is not about finding/or receiving presents from other people. It is about being presentable to the Christ child.
The news this morning was about the National Christmas Tree being toppled by a wind gust yesterday and the worry on it being salvageable.
Our nation is in chaos, and our lead story is the toppling of a Christmas tree? Sort of gives you an idea of where our priorties are set, doesn’t it.
Yes, I am guilty of being one of “those.”

This is going a bit too far
The flag in WI flies at half mast today, in memory of those killed in the Thanksgiving parade in Waukesha this day in 2021. IMNSHO, the flying flags at half mast only bring my attention to the shooters, who get the attention they are seeking.
Of late news that what appears to have been with the George Floyd incident may not be the case.
The shooting of President Kennedy may not have been like it was said.
I am tired of the lies. I am sick of the agendas being pushed.
The gaslighting of those not originally swallowing the swill being promoted must be stopped.

Again, I woke early when I could have been sleeping. There is something in the quiet of the morning and a good cup of coffee that calls to me brings me direction and peace.
Yesterday was a good gathering. Enjoyable. My thanks to all who attended.
Was glad my eating time was from 12 – 10. The intermittent fasting plan fit right in. Today is last day of Week 6 period 6. I doubt there will be weight loss. There is, however, a change in clothing fit. Definitely a change in eating habits.
Cpap… ugh… slow changes but noticeable. I trudge on.
The cold doing a number on the knees.
