• President Trump fired Bureau of Labor Statistics Commissioner Erika McEntarfer, accusing her of manipulating the employment data. (See newly released report revising job totals in May & June, numbers lower by a combined 258,000.)
• Federal Reserve Governor Adriana Kugler is resigning early from her term and will exit on Aug. 8, creating a vacancy on the central bank’s 12-member interest rate-setting committee that President Trump will have an opportunity to fill.
• The White House plans to expand its support for domestic rare-earth businesses to counter China’s near-monopoly of rare-earth minerals.
• Some compounds in vegetables make it harder to absorb nutrients, but small changes in preparation and combination can make a difference.
• Revenue from tariffs $150 billion since President Trump’s administration took office.
• The new tariffs may not be enough to offset the overall deficit, which was $1.34 trillion for the year to date.
Good Morning!
New month, new chance to change the things you can
Your relationship with Jesus
Your financial condition
Your family relationships
It’s time to sit down and reflect, make the time to do an in-depth perusal of your life.
I’m uncertain if you’ve been tracking the goings-on in the world. I don’t want to sound like a doomsday fanatic, and perhaps this has been going on for eons. It is now in my attention loop due to easy world news reading… fires, floods, sickness, terrorism, financial crisis, weather cycles… well, you get the picture, but it is time to set our priorities in order.
Know you are prayed for.

Very grateful for the lower temps and lower humidity. Especially since the car’s AC is once again not working correctly. I really do believe I have a leak somewhere, even though my mechanic has checked a few times. We will check again today.
Early start for me today, but it’s a relatively easy day ahead of me.

There’s so very much running through my mind these days. I’m thinking about the shootings & stabbings, the rain, tsunamis, the earthquakes, and in general, what may be weather manipulation or simply cyclic weather. I’m thinking about Cardinal Sarah’s homily. The accuracy of it is quite frightening. I’m thinking about how having a new Pope has changed many Catholic’s way of thinking. Mostly, I’m concerned about the lack of importance my own family has placed on attending to their faith life. My grandchildren have no concept of God and little, if any, faith in anything but themselves and their abilities, except for a few. These days, I have little to no interaction with them. They are too busy or their parents are to make/take the time to come north and visit. I remember being that way myself. Children learn what they live. satan is happy.

Let’s talk about chicken barns. How many are there in Monroe? Are there rules and regulations for them?

This one caught my eye yesterday. It’s located just outside the village boundary line on Oklahoma Ave. The air quality in the village is already compromised with large dairy. It wasn’t very many years ago there was controversy over large hog barns. Now this.
Monroe County has 901 square miles of land and and 7.4 square miles of water.
1926 farms with average size of 175 acres(.273 square miles).
Feed lots, dairies, chicken barns, calf barns wonder how many of each.
