Test results are back. BP high during the night, not during the day. O2 level dipping to 67 during the night. Dr. consult regarding the next step today. Also, checking out the left ear. The drum is feeling odd, I must have a fluid buildup as it is draining. Tender canal. Goodness, the golden years are full of Dr. visits. I’ve seen them more in the last few months than in the last 20 yrs combined.

Watchman is headed to his forever home this morning. There are children there who will love him and play with him. I will miss his company.

Again, at 6 months for the remaining ones.

Is not a teacup or a toy.

Probably the runt of the litter for regular Chihuahua. Should reach full size at 9 months. Approximately 6#s if not over fed/snacked.

August is definitely here.  The hot, humid, kind like in my youth.  Back then, no A/C at school. Some days were sweltering.

Today, I am home. Unless the vet has an opening.  There is a plethora of things to do here.

We arrived home late last evening. Hot, tired, and grateful.  Our pilgrimage to view the incorrupt body of Sr. Wilhelmina had ended.  We had packed everything possible into this trip. My mind is sort of a jumbled pile of packages waiting to be sorted into some semblance of order.

I took this photo myself yesterday in the chapel at the Benedictine convent of Our Lady Queen of Apostles in Gower, MO. Sr was the foundress of this order of contemplative nuns. She died 4 yrs ago. Her body was exhumed to move it to a new location after construction.

Looks like today will be a hot one. I will hope this means the line for viewing Sr. Wilhelmina is short.

I read an article a few weeks back that cautions one to be cautious in thought and action when viewing Sr. Although her body appears incorupt, she is not as yet deemed an incorruptible. Rome will make that decision sometime in the future. The touching of objects to her body in belief that she is an incoruptable would be in error.

Last evening, Bro Cyprian reminded us that the only thing our Lady/or a Saint should do is lead us/point us to Christ. He went on to say we need to stop, look, and listen for God’s voice in this. Repeating several times the need to focus on the quiet, unplug from the world that seeks to create noise in our minds, preventing us from focusing on God.

When asked if his life got dull and boring, he responded that it does at times (which is the case in all vocations regardless of the one it is), which in turn creates a challenge to persevere in prayer. It was in persevering that he found the answers he had been seeking.

I appreciated his candor.
