May this prayer remind me that
every gift comes from You.
Let my words and actions show respect for Your creation.
With humble spirit, I give thanks.
May peace fill my thoughts.
May light fill my soul.
May I walk in wholeness again.
Guide my steps like the stars
guide the nigh traveler.
Speak softly to my heart.
Give me wisdom that is calm and clear.
Let me choose what is right,
not what is easy.

Venial sin does present obstacles to the growth in perfection, but it does not destroy sanctifying grace in the soul. It does not leave a stain on the soul as mortal sin does. Venial sin is opposed to the charity which should exist between the soul and God, not in the sense that it is inconsistent with the habitual state of grace by which we are united to God’s love through a vivifying union with Christ, but in the sense that the acts prompted by the virtue of charity are rendered by venial sin less fervent in the expression.

So spoiled by this awesome weather. Winter will be here before I know it so am taking advantage of it as long as possible. The man started the yard clean up yesterday. Planted some new bulbs (Firefly Mercantile) Workshop workers, maternity ck-up run, & Boté pk-up scheduled for today. Will be very nice to have my car back. The man’s is still in the shop, hopefully today it will be ready. PCCW mtg on Saturday in New Lisbon, should be a nice time. The fall gathering is always beautiful. Perhaps today will be the day to get the bathroom deep cleaned.
