Morning Offering given

The lake is peaceful, silent, crisp

Happy Anniversary to Oscar & Therese

My time here at the lake is coming to an end. This little break with my VDF was just what I needed.

Yesterday we went to Endeavor to see the OLG Garden Shrine. Built for migrant workers to find rest. We found the shrine gardens in great need of attention but could see what it had been in days past.  A bit of group effort and it could be pruned and restored for the spring when once again it would be a beautiful garden honoring Our Lady.  Hats off to those who have worked to keep the shrine going.  My thoughts are this memorial is slowly being forgotten.

Our trek then took us to Briggsville where we found the Nat’l Shrine of St. Philomena

Where we rested on a bench in the midst of the rosary walk soaking up the peacefulness.

Our evening ended watching the birds and fish on the lake from the adorandak chairs on the deck.

Know you are prayed for.
