Surprisingly, I have nothing on my schedule today. For that I am grateful. This past week has been so hectic with such long hours, that all I really want to do is sleep. What would it have been like if I wasn’t “retired”?
Yesterday an odd thing happened with my phone. Was talking to my VDF when all of a sudden, my DD#4 was talking to me. Not in my conversation but in another totally different conversation. Then it kept happening. People could hear me, but I could not hear them. This is the 2nd time this happened. I have no clue why it happened, how it happened and at this point in time neither did the phone tech.
Opened the back door to the entry way and what did I find? A stripped gray cat that had slid in under the door. Poof gone in a flash. I guess we’ll need to get a real door. I do not need feral cat/s in the garbage collection area.
Autumn is fast approaching (Sept. 22). The foliage will change to the beautiful fall colors. Summer slipped by so quickly it’s hard to believe.
Dentist appt yesterday went okay. New dentist, really like him. New hygienist not so much.
2 new tires ordered. Just need to find a time to have them put on.
The boy will be off to his next jobsite on Sunday. Maybe this will be the time to get the new ceiling put into his room and the walls painted. Will have to find out how long he will be away.
Fall Fest is fast approaching!
Plums need picking. Garden needs to be cleaned off in a few areas. Yard chairs should be sandblasted and repainted for next year. The new roof needs to go on. It never ends. Meanwhile the RV needs cleaning, a new mattress, refrig, and some repairs.
