Living in the presence of God is the foundation of spiritual life. When we are aware of God’s presence and realize He is absolute truth, goodness, and beauty we shall be moved to love and imitate Him. Rare moments of formal prayer will not be enough for us.

Note do not get in a tither over vs 29… check this out… also the DR gives a much better reading.

Today’s Ponder… Lord, thank you for delivering me from what could have been and wasn’t. Sometimes we are so caught up in what is happening we forget to contemplate what could have and didn’t. That in and of itself is sometimes the answer to the prayer we think God is not responding to.

A bit late in starting today. This must mean I slept longer, right? Um, no. What it means is the 20 times I got up during the night kept me tired enough to sleep a bit longer. Ever have those moments when you just cannot turn off your mind? It was one of those nights. My mind wandered from a list of to-dos for today, to questioning the damage done by porn, to planning a trip to see my VDF, to wondering how my unheard from children are doing, mixed with multiple trips to the BR because my body could not understand it should void everything at one time instead of 5. The man is planting more flowers this morning. Miller’s greenhouse on 33 is selling 50% off. I will probably go get more. One cannot have too many flowers.

Hoping my order arrives today so that I can finish my label copy job and work on a project involving the above ponder.
