St Desideratus embodies the adage “charity begins at home,” and we seek to model charity in our families and communities. Lord, by being generous and charitable myself, help me to teach those around me to be giving and caring individuals. Something I fail at miserably. I do assistance of those in need fairly well… um right up to the point I can see they are using me. As for to judge others leniently/or favourably… I can do this as well, right up to the point of finding out the mess they are in is due to failure to implement the changes needed. In each case I then fail at both helping and judging leniently. I always come back to, at what point does this become enabling?

My labels came. Have one job to finish.
I am waiting for Thrift Books to deliver the last two books in an order I placed for someone else. Would like to get those delivered today as well.
Also looking for two Etsy orders so those can be delivered as well.
Nice surprise yesterday when I received a Mother’s Day present from Dennis’ friend.
