Today, we remember Jim Hayward, who left this life in 2011.
St. Bertille’s hospitality attracted both beggars and princesses, reminding us that Christ welcomed all who came to Him.
Yesterday I was told that my adopted children weren’t abandoned, they were delivered. It reminded me of a prayer/poem I’d seen long ago.

Not flesh of my flesh,
Nor bone of my bone,
But still miraculously my own.
Never forget for a single minute,
You did not grow under my heart,
But in it.
