Morning Offering given
O Jesus,
through the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day
for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart,
in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world,
for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins,
the reunion of all Christians,
and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month.
Amen.

Our short trip has been canceled due to things outside of our control. We see this as “we were not supposed to go”. Time will answer why. Huge disappointment for all involved.
The “Homestead” movie is showing in Sparta today, our plan is to attend the first showing. It’s an Angel Film.

When I read your blog, I pray alongside you.
I have many favorite saints. But I think my closest to me is St. Dymphna.
I’m sorry to hear of your trip being canceled. It’s a hard pill to swallow, so to speak. When things are uncomfortable and just feel plain, being upset over it, I say to myself interiorly, God wants me here. And it helps a tiny bit.
I am seriously working on one vice I have. I’ve confessed it in the past and am truly working through it. It helps when you confess it, brings it out in the open and sort of seek help through being accountable to someone. I know it’s wrong, and I need to quit doing that. That helps put me on the right path.
You are prayed for.
