There was a celebration for Our Lady of Guadalupe at a local church. I’ve been to it in the past. Beautiful. Folklorico dancers and mariachi. Mexican culture to honor Our Lady. In Mexico, I heard, the dancers dance nonstop all day to honor her. Lots of dancers who take turns dancing throughout the entire day at the cathedral in Mexico City. It must be beautiful. My daughter’s old folklorico teacher, a professional dancer from Mexico, talked about this.
My church celebrated but not like this. I bet it gets you in a great mood and you smile at the beauty and can’t help but gets you to celebrate alongside everyone. Many very popular Mexican singers sing to Our Lady in the Cathedral. The love for Our Lady in Mexico is alive and beautiful!

This sounds wonderful! I wonder if the Hispanic community here does something special for her at our shrine in LaCrosse. I will have to ask.
