-RIAY Day 13 – Full of Grace
-Day 1 of St Peregrine Novena
-Memory Verse – Luke 1:28 – And coming to her, he said, “Hail, favored one! The Lord is with you.”

Good Morning! It looks like a crazy Monday is in store for me today. There is more snow on the ground, winds are picking up, and temperatures are falling. Hey, guess what? Winter has arrived in Wisconsin. I was wondering when it would get here. How are you doing? How are you getting on with your slowdown of life? Hard isn’t it? We are so used to being on the go all the time that slowing seems almost sinful, doesn’t it? satan wants you to feel that way. Do not feel guilty about making time for God, your family, and your home. Do not feel guilty about enjoying the life you have chosen or been given. Revel in it! All too often we rush thru life never really living it, never really appreciating it, or even realizing the legacy we are leaving. Slow down, schedule time for yourself and God, as well as yourself and family. It is okay to sit and ponder, reflect, and plan.

Know you are prayed for.

Good Morning! Woke to the ground covered in snow. Not much of it but, enough to make the world’s dirt and grime pristine white. Funny how God can take an action of nature and couple it with the feast day we are living. Today is “The Baptism of the Lord”, how appropriate to wake to the sight of a pristine white world so that we can be reminded that through baptism our sins are washed away and our soul is pristine. This then prompts us to keep our soul in that condition thru confession.

Say a prayer for the woman who was running away from a domestic situation, hit and killed by passing car. Say another for my son D who saw the whole thing and couldn’t save her.

Family history ready for pick up late afternoon. Paper trash burned, other trash readied -the man dropped it off. Maid taken home, ice cutter dropped off, copy work dropped off. Quick trip to Mauston to pick up a used printer. Ink ordered. Found a fabulous St Vincent’s there. Neat, tidy, good prices, clean, and organized. That’s a 1st for me at at St Vinny’s.

–RIAY Day 11 As We Forgive
-Memory Verse – Isaiah 55:8-9 –For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways—oracle of the LORD. ₉ For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, my thoughts higher than your thoughts.

Take a few moments, look over your week, and note your strengths & weaknesses. Make your confession list… set yourself a time to go to confession.
