Rental Car during body shop repair… dismal failure… original full of pot smoke so have to wait for them to get another in…. meanwhile bodyshop has my vehicle but I doubt they will be doing anything thing quickly. Good indication when the boss of the shop takes the vehicle intended as a replacement vehicle for his private use the same morning the car is to be given to a customer. Then the car rental agency replacement is a snafu and the vehicle you end up with is a piece of work. The seats are so hard it’s like sitting on a brick. It is one-third the size you need. It took 20 mins to figure out how to turn it on, put it in gear, and change gears, all the while you are smashed in like a pretzel in a tin can. Yep, making chiro appointments today for yesterday and will probably have to go each day while I have this piece of kaka.

My day to pray for the Cmom board. Let me know what you need

The man has taken my vehicle to body shop for damage repair from last Sept.

300+ miles from 1130pm to present. Life is always interesting. Bacon & Sausage was excellent with my coffee. The winter-enclosed front porch is wonderful. Had a chance to speak with Z by phone yesterday. She is home from hosp and has a very determined attitude about life getting back to normal.

Pondering John the Baptist’s statement “I am not the Christ” John 1:20 Those words said in my heart could help me get over myself and begin a close personal relationship with Jesus. I am not the Christ, I am not the creator nor savior.

Mass 8AM

The hand, sensitivity almost normal, pins and needles still present. Probably always will be. Thinking I need to do some strength training on it.

Many thanks to B&G Landscaping for racking the yard yesterday. We are grateful.

Zari is gaining. Word has it if all goes well she will go home today. Long recovery road ahead but she will recover.

Ends of porch – enclosed. Thank you Sessi for all your help. It was greatly appreciated.

Upstairs spare room in order. Ready for next visitor.

Dining room in order. This is the location I found the lost earing dangle. St Anthony did his job well. I can once again enjoy wearing them.

Car to body shop tomorrow for damage done by deer.

Know you are prayed for.

Slept like the dead.

Thanksgiving cactus has buds

Today I am home. My plan is to keep it that way all weekend. Who knows may even get this house cleaned. Sounds like the porch will get enclosed today. Am thinking that is not a bad idea.

Waiting for an update on Zari.

Pondering… life in general today. Especially my role in the scheme of things. You?

small snicker… ” Part of the secret of success in life is to eat what we like and let the food fight it out inside.”

Today we remember Rich Ogden (my dad). He would have been 87. May he rest in peace.

Skies are gray today. The leaves have begun their journey to the ground where they will make a colorful carpet on the lawn. B&G Lawn Service will be here on Saturday morning to begin the yard clean-up. I like to see industrious youth at work.

Looking forward to the day reflexology & chiro. Amazing how they work with my body.

Pondering“and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us” unless we are to be guilty of deception, we must pardon those who trespass against us or God will not forgive us. Sometimes this is a hard road. Lots of times they don’t deserve forgiveness cause they keep doing it over and over…hmmm, just as I keep doing it over and over…

Birthday greetings to Kyle and Anniversary greetings to Kyle & Amy. Hoping your day is awesome!

ATV/UTV/Golf Carts/child’s electric cars… you must be 12 for ATV, 16 for UTV, those ages require a safety class certification on your person and a helmet is suggested. Under 16 must have an adult present. child’s electric car IS NOT PERMITTED ON THE STREET. Golf carts are not permitted on the street unless your village allows it. NO ONE under the age of 16 is allowed to drive on a public street without a licensed adult present. Apparently, the police here in the village don’t know the WI code for this as Sgt. Smartmouth didn’t when he returned my call yesterday about two children (elementary age) riding on Broadway in a small ATV/child’s car at 2:30 in the afternoon. He was more concerned with letting me know through his obvious attitude/ tone of voice “HE” had more important things to be doing. However, he did know enough to thank me for my opinion in his smart-ass tone of voice. I just want to know where “the heck” our Chief of Police is. I haven’t seen “hide nor hair” of him inside the village limits anywhere for weeks. The council may also want to change the police websites. Those list, our “deceased for many years” previous chief. It would also be nice if a person answered the phone during the day. Getting a recording at the police number is not good. I doubt someone would take a return call if they had initially called about being beaten, choking, heart-attack, or fire, well you get the picture. Perhaps it is time to attend village meetings and begin asking questions about all the $$ spent in the police department and no “seen” coverage being rendered. I am 100% “back law enforcement” but not the sit-on-your-butt in the office, run radar outside the village limits, hide at the dump or waste station, or do bar checks from the bar stool kind of enforcement. I will say our village is quiet and peaceful with little crime for which I am grateful. It would be that way without all the bells and whistles anyway.

Rant over

Ponder… “Who is it but God who rescues us from the many perils which surround us.? Who enables us to overcome so many difficulties? How many times should we have died if he had not sustained us?”
