As I drove in early morning through the thunderstorms Matthew 27:51, Mark 15:38 and Luke 23:45. Very appropriate for Good Friday. The veil represented a barrier between God and humanity. The tearing symbolizes the breaking down of that separation, and the tearing top to bottom symbolizes divine intervention. Matthew 27:51-53; And behold, the veil of the sanctuary was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth quaked, rocks were split,  52 tombs were opened, and the bodies of many saints who had fallen asleep were raised. 53And coming forth from their tombs after his resurrection, they entered the holy city and appeared to many. Mark 15:38; The veil of the sanctuary was torn in two from top to bottom. Luke 23:44/45 It was now about noon^z and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon 45 because of an eclipse of the sun. Then the veil of the temple was torn down the middle.

RIAY Day 102-Carried with Love

Just how did it get to be the day before Passion Sunday? The time moved so swiftly being filled with so many things that distracted me from what my true purpose in Lent is.

DD#4 and spouse will be here this afternoon to pick up the golfcart and wisk it away to IA. I cannot tell you how nice it will be to have some extra space in the garage and to know the gc will be used instead of just sitting around. Who knows the garage may just get used for what it was intended for… oh heavens! What a novel idea!

1 copy project finished and one in the wings to be completed today. Both for Monday pick ups. I must say I’m happy for this office area that was made for me by the man and DS#2. Nice to have it all in one place and not strewn about.

This morning, I dash to Black River Falls. The plan is to be home by 1. Pick up the teacher and deliver her home by 430. Looking forward to a quiet evening.

When is the last time you got a letter in the mail? When is the last time you wrote a letter and sent it in the mail? Think about reviving this wonderful habit. Texts, messages, tweets, Instagrams, etc., are nowhere close to receiving correspondence and holding it in your hands to read over and over. Also, get a nice supply of Forever stamps. The rates will go up in July.

Holy Week is next week.

RIAY Day 100 – Always Her Son

Lots of emails to print off this morning. Most of them are asking to be printed in color. Waste of ink, as they are photos of a gray piece of machinery. It would have printed much clearer in black. Oh well. Copy jobs as well. Label making and reprints of labels already made. Have a pickup for parts, another for people, and the regular workshop round trip. The man is off to VMH to bring someone home who had emergency surgery yesterday. It looks as if most of the day will be spent here in the office. Which holds many tasks that need completeing.

The knees continue to feel okay.

I’m on to the next book of Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton series. I’ve commented before that some of it is soft porn, it is very explicit at different times. I wonder why books are not labeled as such. Oh, right, romance —it’s romance. Today I pick up/drop off/return, workshop, copy work, and a doctor visit.
