Nice trip down last evening. Nothing to rush for. The fields we green and lush. Strawberries flourish, lots of for sale strawberry signs. Averaging $4 a quart.

Good night’s sleep. Will be headed home here shortly with A&S D who are catching a bus to Wyoming today in Cashton.

Received notice my friers will be ready for pickup tomorrow at FM’s. They are always plump and juicy.

Let’s talk about how your friendship with Jesus is going? Can’t cultivate a friendship if you don’t talk with him.

The house is silent, all still sleep. Was hard to get moving this morning when I woke. The weekend had been so full of weddings and work. Looking forward to the normal Monday events.

The house is quiet, the dog is waiting for the boy

Yesterday we honored the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The roses in my yard were stunning. The Sacred Heart of Jesus in the background gives food for thought.

Today… E & K wed and B & E wed. This prayer is for the mothers of the Bride.

God in Heaven,
I am so filled with different emotions as I see my daughter
down the aisle today to become a wife to this man.
My little girl is no longer that little girl and
I am having a hard time accepting it all.
Lord you are everything to me.
You love me and you have always known what is best for me.
Because of that, I know your care will be sufficient
as she leaves home and becomes a helpmeet
to this man you led to her.
But I am struggling.
When I gave birth to her,
you gave me a new life to take care of.
From your loving hands into mine,
you said to me that this child is yours
to raise and to look after.
I have tried to do that all these years.
I know she is not leaving my world
and I will see her again.
But to this day,
I was the one she would cry on
when her heart seemingly was broken.
I was the one
she shared her special dreams and
desires with as she grew.
Now those days will be fewer
as she has someone else to pour out her heart to.
Please help me and assure me everything will be ok.
Help me to make you even more important and
to fill this void with your special care.
