What fun! Thanks to P&T for coming for supper. Great conversation, and wonderful food. Why is it we wait so long between times to do this?

The hand, no bandage or brace; still numb & tingly as well as fatigued. Today I see the chiro and hopefully her work on the shoulder will help alleviate the problem.

Today we remember my brother JO may he rest in peace.

Fun day yesterday with the man. Visited AB at here worksite, Lunched with K&S at Fugi’s, and stopped at a resale shop.

Today is Mass at St Mary’s and the fall fest parade, then a small fest with friends here at the house. I love being close enough to the formation grounds that all can be seen from the porch. Feel free to stop before, during, and after the parade.

Thumb, index, & middle finger numb with pins and needles exhibiting hyper sensitivity.
The brace, makes it worse.
The bandage adhesive makes it worse.
Incision looks great.
Stitches come out on Tues.
Still cannot use a fork or write.
Typing is interesting,
my HS typing teacher
would be reprimanding me in regards to my finger use.
The hand gets tired easily,
the elbow hurts and
the nerve that runs up the arm makes itself known in my shoulder.
I see Pene on Tues and Tracy on Weds.
Hopefully that will change things.
The man will take my runs again.

Brrrr, fall is upon us. Time to order a furnace ck, remove the A/C units, and get out the flannel sheets.

Wrist braces arrived… they make the pain worse. Probably because there is a strap around the thumb and that area is highly sensitive to touch. Sigh. Will find the lambs wool fabric maybe that will help.

Mtg K&S in DBQ about 3 this afternoon. They are on a rescue dog run. Looks like mass will be in DBQ today.

Fall Fest weekend in the village. There was a time when we were very involved in the entire process. Now we sit on the porch and watch it all.

The man is taking my runs today. Ordered finger caps for the righthand to see if that helps lessen the hypersensitivity. Fish tonight with the boy and his woman. Traps were set last night, the cool weather is bringing them in. One caught last night, one again this morning. At this rate, I need a cat.

The hand is still a battle. Stitches out on Tues. Brace should be here today. I’m afraid the surgery was unsuccessful. Feels worse now than before.

I’ll quit whining now and offer it up.

Today we remember David, who passed on this day in 2021. May he rest in peace.

The devil is working his last game on this, Remember that. Stay the course. Put your doubts away. Embrace your heavy load. Continue your walk to Heaven. Offer up your fears, doubts, sorrows, pain, and agony to the Lord.
