The Cost of this election will be around $16 billion. That is absurd.

The cost of the Border Crisis is upwards of $150.7 billion as of May ’24.
According to Homeland Security, nearly 3 million inadmissible encounters, &
10.8 million total encounters with illegal aliens since 2021.

19 states give driver licenses to illegals: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, & Washington. 35 states ( https://ballotpedia.org/Voter_identification_laws_by_state#Details_by_state )require ID to vote, 25 of those require photo ID. 15 states do not require ID to vote.

Our national debt is $35 trillion. Each man, woman, and child in the US would have to shell out $104,199.78 to pay off this debt.

Sympathy is extended to my 2nd cousin Pat Hagen, whose daughter Amy passed away. Her funeral will be on Friday in Nelsonville.

Standard, normal, God-given time has returned. May it never leave again. Have you ever stopped to consider that perhaps we could be restored to a simple, slower-paced, family-oriented life by taking the 1st step and living in real-time; in time with nature, and the rotation of the earth?

Went to urgent care yesterday in regard to: the pain in my leg. No blood clot. Now stop whining and get on with it. Have decided to try sitting on bar stool and resting foot on leg of table.

Maquoketa Valley High School play – today. We will drive down after mass.

When he entered the house, the blind men approached him and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I can do this?” “Yes, Lord,” they said to him.

“Blind men” am I/ can I be blind to what Jesus is doing in my life? Do I really/honestly/truly believe he can do this? Am I/will I wait for Him to work in my life or will I be impatient, doing it myself, because I want it done now? If I do that, then do I truly believe he can do this?

Finally the right loaner. Not sure how long my vehicle will be in the shop. IMNSHO… new car technology is an accident waiting to happen. Cannot believe all the bells and whistles on this 2024 Expedition. Took 20 minutes to figure out how to put it in drive, reverse, liftgate, radio, well you get the picture. The board is way too bright even in the dark phase. I couldn’t change a tire if my life depended on it. No wonder they have a $75,000.00 sticker on it. Total waste of money. Glad the insurance co is footing the bill on this one. With THIS vehicle I can totally understand seatbelts/child seats… no way can your attention be focused on the road and your driving. Time to go back to the plain janes and let the limo company handle all the new-fangled stuff. Good grief, the road is not a place to be entertained.

Another new baby boy… David… mom and baby are good.

Girl Scout “gender ideology” is the reason the Ohio Archbishop Cincinnati ended the long-standing partnership (110 yrs) with Girl Scouts. I was glad to hear about this. The GSUSA has been out of sync with church teachings for decades. Hope the entire USA does the same.

Sessi will be manning the porch for Trick or Treat night this year.

Rental Car during body shop repair… dismal failure… original full of pot smoke so have to wait for them to get another in…. meanwhile bodyshop has my vehicle but I doubt they will be doing anything thing quickly. Good indication when the boss of the shop takes the vehicle intended as a replacement vehicle for his private use the same morning the car is to be given to a customer. Then the car rental agency replacement is a snafu and the vehicle you end up with is a piece of work. The seats are so hard it’s like sitting on a brick. It is one-third the size you need. It took 20 mins to figure out how to turn it on, put it in gear, and change gears, all the while you are smashed in like a pretzel in a tin can. Yep, making chiro appointments today for yesterday and will probably have to go each day while I have this piece of kaka.
