Slept like the dead last evening, I needed it. I will need it, as I will do another early evening run to Iowa tonight.

The knees do not care for all this car time. Keep praying the woman cking out the w/c route, decides to keep doing it. Also, please pray that someone wants to do the NE route. My driving time needs to be over. The SUV returns to Clucker’s today to have the remaining coils replaced.

Good Morning!
Rain continues to fall here this morning, with talk of it lasting all day. We need the moisture.
Easy day ahead of me, with the hope it remains as such. As I’ve grown older, I am beginning to realize I don’t listen to as much music as I used to. I do believe that needs to be remedied. It’s hard to listen to the music found on the radio these days. Everything seems to be homogenized. With most of it filled with despair. I need to search and find the uplifting and joy-filled. If anyone has suggestions, let me know.

It is Monday.
The w/c van was picked up on Saturday by the person considering taking over the NE Route. (I pray they do). Sunday, my SUV’s engine light came on while it shuddered, shook, and coughed.(It is now sitting at the mechanic’s). My wonderful neighbor to the east has loaned me her second car for today so that I can complete my obligations, while the man takes over the NW Route for today. I pray the repair bill is not horrid. We just finished putting new tires and all that entails on it last week. Beans are poking thru in the garden. Bridal Wreath shrubs are ready to blossom. Rose of Sharon and lilacs already fill the yard with color and a heavenly scent. Truly grateful we did not take the winterizing panels off either of the porches. This week is going to be chilly. The plants here in the office are doing well. I am truly blest.

Morning! Last evening’s sleep was decent. I see we received rain overnight. We needed it; things were starting to get dry. Tires have been replaced on the car for the summer. All copy work has been delivered. One drop off due this morning and I’m free till Monday. The woman who is thinking about doing the WC Van route is picking up the van today and will be seeing how she likes the route.

One copy job to complete, 2 pickup and dropoffs, and the bank run on the calendar for today
Not much rain yesterday, but it was good and windy. The thunder rumbled long and deep, giving the impression of a train passing by on the tracks. I had to go out and look; the sky was not tornado green, nor was there any circular motion. We’re halfway into May, and I continue to look for all the must-have DST people to be outside as the sun rises each morning. Taking things in… not a one, except for the man and me. While we lose ONE HOUR OF SLEEP DAILY. If I’m lucky, my house will get put in order today. The knees are feeling good. The shoulders keep going too. This daily routine of checking “how the body parts are functioning” is getting obnoxious. Who would have thought the “Golden Years” would be so focused on health? Yesterday I attended morning Mass in Wautoma. I was “blest” to have had the opportunity to do that. It does not happen often. The priest’s homily… “Mass is not about you, not about you liking the music, enjoying the visiting, liking my personality, or the way I do things, or feeling good about the message. This is an altar, not a stage! Mass is about Christ’s sacrifice of himself for your sins and his triumph over death by rising from it.”
