June has arrived, this month, we concentrate on the “Sacred Heart of Jesus”.
Lovely time yesterday at the Kircher’s, remembering Valerie and Bike to Mary. The porch was peaceful, food was great, and Val was missed, but her essence was there.

RIAY Day 149 Littleness Before the Lord
The bridal wreath shrubs are outstanding this year. I am always amazed by how lovely they make the yard look.
Today’s plan is to see “The Last Rodeo” at 1pm at the Sparta 6. We’ve been trying to catch decent movies there when we can. A great senior price of $8 and an awesome $5 Mondays (ticket & popcorn). In June, we have “The Ritual” on the list. This movie is an authentic portrayal of the Emma Schmidt exorcisms (the most thoroughly documented exorcism in American history). Perhaps July will find us watching the new “Superman” movie, and in August, “Americana”.

But above all, I recommend to you the priests dearest to me:
the priest who baptized me;
the priests who absolved me from my sins;
the priests at whose Masses I assisted and who gave me your Body and Blood in Holy Communion;
the priests who taught and instructed me;
all the priests to whom I am indebted in any other way (especially …).
O Jesus, keep them all close to your heart,
and bless them abundantly in time and in eternity.

RIAY Day 147 Fullness of Victory
Take stock of where you are in your faith life. Do you have one? Do you want one? Do you pray daily? Do you want to? Is Jesus important to you? Do you really want him to be? How can you have a relationship if you don’t work on one? If the only time you spend getting to know him and letting him know you is fleeting at best, you will not have the relationship you want/need/yearn for. Take stock of where you are heading. Your eternal life depends on it.
