Dream filled sleep last night… probably due to watching “The Cokeville Miracle” on Tubi.  Another good movie without sexual innuendo or bad language.  One of the characters struck home with me.

Purchased mums yesterday. The man got them in the ground for me last night. God is watering them for me this morning.  Great price, $8; I’ll need 2 more to finish the bed out front.

Japanese beetles have arrived.

Off to LaX this morning for xrays/ultrasound of knees.  The man will go with me.  Txs to neighbor “B” I have found night relief by placing pillow under knees when sleeping. 

Need to pick squash, tomatoes, and cucumbers this morning before we leave.

So, here we are, almost mid-August, almost 8.5 months into the year… how’s your friendship with Jesus going? Still too busy to fit him in? Perhaps what the real problem is… you’d have to change how you do things. You’d have to give up your total control, trust that someone else was better at directing your life, and if that wasn’t hard enough to do, you’d have people noticing that you changed and you’d probably have to explain… GASP… it’s the real problem, isn’t it. You are afraid someone will notice and question. Don’t worry… Luke 12:12… God has your back.

lookin at my locked hub caps this morning… looks like someone tried to take them off without the key. I find that extremely irritating. If it doesn’t belong to you LEAVE IT ALONE!!

Where are the police around here? Haven’t seen one doing anything but sitting at the end of the bar in the front door. I don’t even know how many officers we have. Apparently not any that actually do police work.

Knee is feeling better… of course, it is. I’m scheduled to see Dr. on Friday, heaven forbid it would feel bad then. When I actually need it, too.

Does anyone out there hear the high hum of electricity or the cell tower? It has been driving me bonkers for months. Had relief from it when we went north last week, but as soon as we got back, it started in again. How does one fix that?

Today is a pick-up drop-off day. One day a week, I shedule all those little don’t have time to do things in one day. Today is that day.

Happy “60th” Birthday to my vdf S. Hope my package gets there today.

It is time to revamp the campaign rules.

1) limits on total money spent for 1 person’s campaign. 2) televised PSA debates/talks for all candidates 1x a month 3) candidates talk about themselves with no innuendo aimed at others. 4) if you don’t follow the debate rules, you must leave the floor and will not be part of the rest of them 5) no TV ads; only radio, internet, and mailing, door to door, parades and the like.
