“Love is not “DUE,” it is given out of pure self-sacrifice simply for the sake of the beloved.’
This sentence struck me firmly at the chapel this morning. I think of all the issues with children and adult children these days. A simple answer. There are no words my children would understand in explaining why we adopted, why we always have an open door, why we keep trying to be in touch, why we didn’t rescue from poor choices, why we continue to pray.
