Coffee very good, the aroma is to die for.
Happy birthday Haley C.
We remember Tom C who passed in 1953 on this date. May he rest in peace.
St Mechtilde teaches us that because children often imitate our actions, we must be good models of Christianity.

Good Morning!
We’ve passed the halfway mark in November. I haven’t a clue as to how this keeps happening.
I have been feeling the speed of passing time for a long time. So much so that I purchased a book that has sat on my shelf for far too long. At least a year and perhaps longer. Living Slower by Merissa A. Alink is now going to be read. It speaks to simple ideas to eliminate excess and make time for what matters. It was published by Baker Books in Grand Rapids, MI, in 2022. I will open its pages and begin reading today. The author also has a blog that I found to be interesting.
The decision to attend Mass at the OLG Shrine every other Friday at 0830 has also been made. This will give me a chance to go to confession regularly and begin incorporating daily Mass into my life.
Saturday night, at 8:00 pm, St. John’s Summit Ridge needs to be put back on the calendar. As our home parish, we really need to be there when Mass is held. Even though it is much easier to attend St. Mary’s on Sunday morning.
We continue to attend Adoration at St. Theresa in Union Center each Sunday morning at 0500.
The new liturgical year begins on the 30th. My plan is to make that date the start date of making life slower all around.
This includes keeping the M-Th drive times, with another reminder to the special school that I would like to stop driving, so they need to find someone (Ideally, someone who has their CDL/bus driver license and a small 22-passenger bus with a wheelchair ramp. This would then take care of the entire route in one shot, 2 times a day). Leaving me with only the midwife and occasional runs in the area.
At almost 71 years of age, it is time for me to slow down. Of course, this also means the “Love of My Life” needs to slow down.
How goes your life? Inquiring minds want to know.
Know you are prayed for.
