Something on Facebook quoting Romans 8:17 caught my eye the other day. For anyone who may have seen that post, please take the time to read the entire Chapter 8, as the meaning of verse 17 changes significantly when it stands alone.

The calendar page has been turned to November. There are 59 days left of 2025. The 2026 Planner will need to travel with me now. Since my focus this year will continue to be on Jesus and improving my relationship with him, I purchased the JMJ 2026 planner from TAN Books.
It didn’t take my body very long to slip into standard time and sleep 6 straight hours as if I were dead. In DST, more than 3 consecutive hours were difficult. I’m back in sync with the natural flow, and I revel in it.
Today, I should receive the round labels I ordered and be able to complete a copy job. Online Labels does an outstanding job and is reasonably priced.
The coming week looks to be full. That happens this time of year with Thanksgiving in the wings.
The man has completed winterizing the porches. Perhaps there is more that could be done (caulking, rolled insulation, moisture barrier, etc), but it won’t be. It is time to finish the kitchen. You know the project that was started before the 24-year-old boy graduated from high school. I’d like to see it completed before I die. We’ve grown older, are less capable of “doing it ourselves”, and still hold the mindset that hiring someone to do something we could do ourselves is just not going to happen. Perhaps the boys should come home for a weekend and get this done.
Adoration, Rosary, and Catechesis are the 3 things needed in the Catholic Church to begin a renewal of the faithful. Without these 3 things in place, one cannot begin. It is impossible to teach the faith if the person teaching wasn’t taught correctly.
