Ponder for a moment, Antonio Cardinal Bacci’s Meditation for today. Imagine you are on Calvary at the foot of the Cross. Jesus is nailed hand and foot to the wood, and the last drops of blood are trickling from His wounds to the ground. His thorn-crowned head has nowhere to rest, and the weight of His body is extending the wounds caused by the nails which hold it suspended between earth and sky. He has endured this for all mankind.
