As I drove in early morning through the thunderstorms Matthew 27:51, Mark 15:38 and Luke 23:45. Very appropriate for Good Friday. The veil represented a barrier between God and humanity. The tearing symbolizes the breaking down of that separation, and the tearing top to bottom symbolizes divine intervention. Matthew 27:51-53; And behold, the veil of the sanctuary was torn in two from top to bottom.
