Prayers for a friend’s mom who is undergoing surgery today.
Memory Verse Matthew 18:21-22
Then Peter approaching asked him,
“Lord, if my brother sins against me, how often must I forgive him?
As many as seven times?”
22 Jesus answered,
“I say to you, not seven times but seventy-seven times.

Now is a good time to discuss “forgive”. Gosh it is so very hard to do isn’t it?

How easy it is to think you have done it and then that little bit of resentment pops up its ugly head and you remember and the bitterness resumes and unless you beat it down and move on comes back full force and once again consumes you. Leaving no peace, no solitude, no joy, no happiness, etc. The holidays seem to bring back many feelings which can destroy the happiness of the moment. Take a few moments to think about what you need to forgive and place it in the hands of Jesus.
