Our prayer should flow naturally
from our mind, heart, and lips
yet most days prayer can be the last thing
we think of
the last thing we do
why is that
have you ever stop to wonder
we are made in the image of God
shouldn’t it be like breathing
yet
it is not
why
free will
God doesn’t want us to be puppets on a string
He wants us because we want to be there
because we choose
The new liturgical year begins at the end of this month
Join me
in a repetitious prayer
one that will keep prayer in your thought
on your mind
on your lips
it will seem tedious
boring
unnecessary
but it will get you into the habit
of praying
listening
surrendering
This prayer is said 15 times a day, every 96 mins in a 24 hr period or every 48 mins in a 12 hr period. You could set your watch to remind you. A new prayer habit could be implemented in a short time.
