Wow! What. a. week!
Today, I am taking the day off from everything, and plan to wallow in lazy activities. Today the house is clean enough, the laundry done sufficiently, that lazing on the patio or porch will not make me feel guilty. Reading a book will not bother me when I see dust motes flying in sunbeams. I have no intention of entering a car until Sunday morning.
Today is the annual auction for the Special Children’s Center in La Farge, WI. Breakfast began serving at 6:30 this morning at the Produce Auction Bldg. I cannot begin to tell you all of the good things this clinic does for Children with Special Needs. Check it out https://www.vmh.org/services/center-for-special-children/
A fraud alert on my card. It’s been shut down. I pick up the new card on Monday. Everybody Car Service… limo, taxi service out of NY is not someone I use. Be careful out there, lots of fraud happening these days.
Can we talk about being too busy? Busy as in almost every second of you daily schedule has something in it? I’m contemplating that these days. Do you think about it too? Do you wonder why you are or are not so busy that everything else takes second place? Take a down day with me, lets figure it out. As for me I’m thinking a lot of it has to do with spiritual warfare… now don’t roll your eyes, this is serious stuff. Have you ever considered that satan keeps you so busy or so slothful that he is sucking the life out of you and you can’t even put your finger on what is doing that?
Think about it. Contemplate what keeps you from even thinking about the spiritual or has you rolling your eyes.
Know you are prayed for.

I was telling a friend that we are trapped in “busyness” of our daily life, just today. I have stepped back from others (as in a few people in my life) to give time to a rejuvenation of my soul. Quiet and prayer. Doing good works that don’t disturb that quiet and prayer. It is true that our centeredness in Christ is being greatly disturbed by Satan because he wants us sad, fearful, bitter and angry or hurt and so busy we do not hear Christ’s love for us in our souls. We do not see our blessedness. We who are alive are a real blessing to others. Dear God help me find a quiet in my busy life so I can hear your voice that speaks of your love for me. Amen. You are prayed for as well.
