Cold this morning, heard there might be flurries…Only 2 days till Spring. I am so very ready.

Picked up a new book at the library yesterday, one audio, and one hardcover. The audio has too much swearing in it so will be going back. Do not understand why authors fill a page with vulgar language. I didn’t get past the first chapter, and am not willing to listen to the “has no purpose swearing” to follow what I’m thinking might have been a great storyline. The hardcover is book #3 in the Abercombe Trails series, which I find to be quite interesting. The setting is Minnesota’s 1880s uprising era. I still cannot believe I wasn’t taught about this in history class, and wonder if they are teaching it now.

Off to Tomah with a friend this morning. I enjoy her company, she owns a fabric/variety store on the highway. She is the age of my eldest child. I find her refreshing.

I’m beginning a bit of an experiment. In November 2019 I purchased a Fitbit after my bout with Covid-19 (undiagnosed because no one knew what it was but later confirmed by antibodies in the blood) to monitor my oxygen levels. I have worn it religiously since then. I have also noted things going on with my health since then. Vertigo, headaches, ear/sinus issue,s, excessive joint pain, the feeling of an electric pulse running thru my body, excessive fatigue, and various other things. At almost 68 I have been putting these things down to aging and the joys of the golden years. Last week I removed my smart watch, went without hearing aids for a bit, and some of these things lessened. They returned when I returned to wearing them. I am now wondering if Bluetooth has something to do with these issues, so will be doing a little experiment for a while to find out if turning off Bluetooth changes things. I’d love to know if anyone else has experienced these issues and has the same thoughts regarding Bluetooth.

My news feed held a story about a woman (my age) being refused a kidney transplant because she didn’t and won’t get the vaxx. Sometimes the medical world is flat-out deranged in its thought process. Prayers this woman finds healing.

Please continue to pray for the Amish teen in Mayo clinic. She woke up yesterday, but there is still no diagnosis or found reason for her seizures and condition.

How’s your Lent going? My hope is you are drawing closer to Jesus and finding peace in your relationship with him.

CIAY…how goes it? We’re on Day 77. I’ve been comparing today’s Catechism to the old one. Basically, they are the same except the old one is plain, and simple, whereas the new one is not.

We are planning to take April off as much as possible to finish up some projects we have begun here at the house. I’m hoping to set up a garage sale in early June, and I’m hoping I am ready on time. Will have a couple old working vehicles for sale and hope someone who needs a 1st vehicle or cheap car/SUV comes along. I am so glad we are parring down the yard clutter.

Know you are prayed for.
