Received phone call
Voice says… Sarah’s eye drop medication is ready to be picked up.
Me… okay, I will be there on the 27th, 3pm. Does that work for you?
Voice… yes, it does, thank you.
I arrive at pharmacy 3pm. Approach window say… you called about picking up Sarah’s eye drop meds.
Voice…yes, I did, thank you for being on time. What is Sarah’s last name?
Me… I don’t know you called me.
Voice… what is Sarah’s DOB?
Me… I don’t know, you called me.
Voice… what is Sarah’s address?
Me… I don’t know, you called me.
Voice… I can’t give them to you then. Protocol says you have to know these.
Me… why did you call me then?
Voice… Sarah gave me a note with your name and number saying to call you when they are ready to pick up and you would.
Me… so you called, said eye meds are ready, I gave you date & time I would be here, but you can’t let me have them
Voice…yes, protocol says we need it
Me… did you tell Sarah what I would need
Voice… no
Me… when we talked on the phone, did you tell me what I would need?
Voice… no
Me… so you will have to call Sarah and tell her you can’t give them to me because you failed to let us know what protocol you needed.
Voice… I will contact her. What is her #, there isn’t one listed?
Me… for who?
Voice… Sarah
Me… Sarah who?
Voice… I can’t tell you
Me… hmmm, then I can’t, either. I have about 7 Sarah’s in my contacts. All are phone shack numbers, but without a last name, I can’t tell you.
Lol
The Sarah dilemma is funny, but not funny
