Summer Living Room

Today was the day. Clear out the winter items, move the plants to the porch, toss out that extra easy chair, and move the home office and the tv to out of the way spots. Make the living room seem larger with more center of room space.

It’s a yearly ritual, like flinging wide the windows and doors. Ushering old man winter out and springtime in. It is time.

Sparse is the look.

Happy Birthday Lisa B, I miss you.

The night was restless, both shoulders argued over the rain that was falling, refusing to allow back sleeping and complaining about side sleeping.

Today I hope to empty the garage, set up the tables, and create some sense of order for the garage sale I will be having on the 11, 12, and 13th. Everything from toys to quilts. All those things one thinks they must have to function in life end up in the garage, waiting to be used. Sometimes they languish in there for years.

My mind is of course working overtime after all someone told me not to overthink. Which of course triggers my over thinking.

Psalm 42:5 (DR)   5 To thee, O God my God, I will give praise upon the harp: why art thou sad, O my soul? and why dost thou disquiet me?

Psalm 43:(NAB) 5 5 Why are you downcast, my soul? Why do you groan within me? Wait for God, whom I shall praise again, my savior and my God.

Nefarious…a movie, which is a depiction of what happens during exorcism. Not so patiently waiting for it to come to this area. I might have to travel to see it.

Know you are prayed for.

Blessed Mother

Of those whose names you can read in my heart

watch over them with every care.

Make their way easy and their labors fruitful.

Dry their tears if they weep;

sanctify their joys;

raise their courage if they weaken;

restore their hope if they lose hearts,

their health if they be ill,

truth if they err,

and repentance if they fall.

Amen

Last school driving day

New baby yesterday afternoon, mom & baby home, doing well… Levi 7# 2oz

Wedding and funeral yesterday as well.

Geez, they’ve begun signing up to campaign for president. Biden, Trump, Haley, Ramaswamy, Elder, Hutchinson, Williamson, Kennedy, and more are expected to run. Like DeSantis, Pence, Scott, & Sununu. It is going to be a circus, with millions spent on lying about each other and putting out hateful campaign ads.

Know you are prayed for.

Did you know

Mayo doesn’t accept cash for payment unless you go to the finance office? How ridiculous, is that? So, for those of us who use cash, only one must walk across campus, wait for a finance person to pay your copay. However, you can swipe your card just about anywhere, pay online, etc.

No, thank you, Mayo. When the crash comes how will you handle that?
