LENT is a time to seek a DEEPER & STRONGER relationship with Christ, it doesn’t have to be complicated. We can simply ask him for it. Our elaborate regime during lent doesn’t change God, we need to come to him in humility and simplicity so he can change us. He is looking for open and ready hearts that will receive him and act. Are you willing to change/transform your life by simply welcoming him to be a part of it?

Prayers of Praise & Thanksgiving to God…Natalie had her scans and is cancer free. Prayers for J who is seeking help and for K to endure; A&K as they close the purchase of their 1st house; A to get a handle on the alcohol and substance abuse issues and be willing to admit the issues exist; T to come to terms with his part in his situation and do the work necessary to change; for those who have stepped away from their faith that they feel a need to return; for those who have died and those who remain; for those who have anxiety issues; for parents who have hard decisions to make regarding their children; for those preparing to receive the sacrament of Confirmation; May we all come closer to Christ.
